From a screenshot of the memorial, 10 Oct 2026: a small photograph of the inscribed base of a pedestal monument, and the contributor's transcription of it (a copy of it, made the same day, agrees word for word):
JANE ROBSON / WIDOW OF / HALKET PATTULLO / DIED APRIL 4th, 1879 / AGED 70 YRS. & 2 DAYS / SACRED ALSO TO THE MEMORY OF / HER HUSBAND / WHO DIED IN BLENHEIM / THIS COUNTY JUNE 7, 1855 / AND IS BURIED THERE
The photograph agrees with the transcription line for line. In a larger copy (photo 217188490, in a a second screenshot the same day) the year of Halket's death reads "185[5?]": the third figure looks like a 5, so the stone has the 1850s, not 1865; the last figure is worn. The contributor read 1855.
What it shows:
- Jane Robson was born on 2 April 1809: 70 years and 2 days at her death on 4 April 1879.
- Halket Pattullo died in Blenheim Township, Oxford County, on 7 June 1855, and is buried there (at Princeton, Christian Cemetery, as Find a Grave has him). His family put this on her stone. Bourdon (2015) and the header of Halket's own Find a Grave memorial have 1865, with the same day and month; the printed genealogy pictured on that memorial, FamilySearch and Wikipedia have 1855. Halkett is named as the father in his children's marriages of 1862-1889, which says nothing either way. The 1861 census of Blenheim would decide it.
