Daughter of Richard Blackmer and Nancy Ellis. An 1833 Plympton marriage record calls Nancy (Blackmer) Holmes "the daughter of Mr Richard Blackmer & Nancy his wife, whose maiden name was Ellis." "Nancy Morey" in her mother's will, 1860, which left her nothing, as it did Richard B. and Eliphalet Holbrook, because the other children "have chiefly borne the expense of my support."
