As the Ancestry tree has him.
In May 1911, aged eleven, he was bitten on the finger by a rat; blood poisoning followed, and "for some time it was feared he would die." After two operations at St. Joseph's Hospital and four months' treatment he was pronounced out of danger in September. The paper calls him "grandson of Justice of the Peace Flynn" (record). In January 1952 he was living at Portland, named among the sons in his father's obituary (record).
