Daughter of John Joyce of Yarmouth (compiled). Her father's will of 20 Nov 1666 left "unto my two Daughters Mary and Dorcas twenty shillinges apeece." It also gave 20s to Richard Tayler "att the Rocke because a poor man," provided "hee vindecate my name and acknowlidge the wronge that hee hath Done mee about a Calfe" (MD 16:160).
McLean's study of her father (TAG 43:1-13, 1967) gives her as born about 1640, died 10 June 1707, and married about 1661 Nathaniel Bassett (as quoted on WikiTree). Her husband's will of 1709/10 left their daughter Mary Mulford "my Chest that was her Mothers and my great Chest that I gave to her mother."
