What it says

A compiled genealogy that transcribes the Plymouth County probate papers of Lt. Isaac Buck (Plymouth County Probate 1:222): his inventory of 25 May 1695 (“Smith tools” £5 19s, “Armes and amminition” £2 10s, “housing and lands” £130), sworn on 9 July 1695 by his sons-in-law Joseph Garrett and Stephen Chittenden as administrators; the 1697 division, with the widow’s dower; and the administrators’ account, which lists “Cloaths for apparral taken up by the widow since her husbands decease” at £3 17s. It places the homestead at about 38 Stockbridge Road, Scituate, by the crossing called “Buck’s corner,” and says Frances (Marsh) Buck sold her Charlestown common to William Johnson, leaving her stepmother Anna the use of it.
