What it says
Bowman’s transcript: “Rev. John Mayo died at Yarmouth, Mass., in May, 1676, without having made a will” (MD 9:119). Inventory of 1 June 1676, total £111 4s., beginning “Impr : in silver 35 00 00” (MD 9:120); his widow is “Tamasin.” The agreement on the estate gave it to “the three surviving Children of the said Mr Mayo,” and was signed by “John Mayo,” by “Joseph howes,” and by Thomas Huckins “In the behalfe of hannah Bacon” (MD 9:121-122).
