Administration of the estate of “Nathan Low late of Deer Isle … Yeoman” was granted to “Nathan Low Jr of Deer Isle” on 26 Oct 1859. His notice, signed “Nathan Low Jr.,” was to be posted at Deer Isle and published three weeks in the Ellsworth American. No will was found. Only the appointment was found; the inventory and division are still to look for.
Major Nathan Low died at Deer Isle in May 1859; this is his son Capt. Nathan administering his estate.
