Estate of John Howard of Deer Isle: Nathan Low Jun. appointed administrator

At the probate court at Castine, first Wednesday of March 1832, John Howard’s widow Susan and son Thomas Howard declined the trust and asked “that Nathan Low Jun of said Deer Isle may be appointed” administrator.

Hosmer says John Howard Jr.’s first wife was a daughter of Thomas Thompson and the mother of Capt. Thomas Howard, which would make Thomas Howard Capt. Nathan Low’s first cousin (our inference).
