What it says
Harriet and R. B. Holbrook, “both of Coveland, Island County Washington Territory,” appointed “Daniel W. Low of Beverly … Massachusetts” to sell “any and all right title and interest that the said Harriet P. Holbrook as one of the daughters and heirs at law” had in Maine real estate of “the late Hannah R. Low, late of Deer Isle … at the time of her decease, on April 8th 1886.” Witnesses J. C. Power and Joseph B. Libbey; acknowledged before Joseph O. Libbey, notary, Island County.
The record that names Harriet as Hannah R. Low’s daughter. That it was recorded in Penobscot County suggests Hannah also owned land there, perhaps Tyler land at Dixmont (our inference).
