Passenger list of the Hopewell, April 1635 (Hotten, Original Lists)

“Theis vnder written names are to be transported to New-England imbarqued in ye Hopewell Mr Wm Bundick,” with certificates that they were no subsidy men. Among them, after the Ruggles and Eliot families of “Nazing in Essex,” is “GILES PAYSON 26.” Roberts (1895) also has him coming in the Hopewell from London in 1635, aged twenty-six.
