Oxie baptism of Nils, son of Pål Pehrsson and Boel Andersdotter, 1842

Unrelated. This record belongs to the Pålsson family of Malmö, which was taken for Anna Mary Paulson’s on 5 October 2026 and ruled out the same day (that Anna Matilda married in Malmö in 1902). Kept so the family is not attached again; see research/paulson/anna-paulson-swedish-origins.md.

The index entry (a screenshot, 5 October 2026; image not seen): Nils, born 9 July 1842, christened 10 July 1842 at Oxie, Malmöhus; father Pål Pehrsson, mother Boel Andersdotter (“Andersdr”). Attached on FamilySearch to Nils Palsson (MMWG-HH2), b. 1842.

The only Nils born at Oxie in 1842 to a father named Pål in the index (a search for Nils, b. 1842, father Pål, found the others at Dagstorp, Brunnby, Skivarp and Barsebäck). The Malmö roll of 1886 gives Nils Pålsson’s birth as 2 July 1842 at Oxie, a week earlier: one date or the other was copied wrong.
