What it says

A historic-building study of the Old South Meeting House. The 1729-30 building was built by the mason Joshua Blanchard (cornerstone “JB 1729”) to a design by Robert Twelves. That rules out the claim, in S. F. Kneeland (1897) and Mollie’s typescript, that John Kneeland (1668-1740) built it.
