“WILLIAM C. FLYNN. William Clifford Flynn, retired real estate broker, died Friday at St. Vincent’s hospital after a long illness. He was born January 7, 1872, in Fairfield, Neb., and lived in Portland since 1920. His residence was 644 [?] S. E. 20th avenue. Mr. Flynn was active with the Knights of Columbus, being a fourth degree member associated with Archbishop Seghers assembly, and with the St. Vincent de Paul and Holy Name societies.

“He leaves the following sons and daughters: James W. Flynn, Kansas City, Mo.; Lt. Col. Richard T. Flynn, New York, N. Y.; Hubert L., Bernard F., Joseph E., Lt. Cmdr. Louis E. and Paul I. Flynn, all of Portland; Mrs. Winifred I. Dwyer, Seattle; Mrs. Pauline LeMarte, Portland, and Sisters Patricia Ann and Mary Losa [or Lota?] of the Holy Names.

“The remains will be in All Souls chapel of St. Francis church after 1 p. m., Sunday. The rosary will be recited in the church at 7:45 p. m. Requiem mass will be offered at 9 a. m. at the church. Vault interment will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery.”

“Died Friday” is 25 January 1952, as on his death record.
