- 19 Aug 1915, p. 5: “Conductor Thomas Hatten left to day for Northfield Minn to look after farm matters and a timber deal.”
- 22 and 29 Aug 1918: Leigh Rex Hatten of Jamestown on the draft lists.
- 5 June 1919, p. 5: “Mrs T J Hatten formerly of this city of late located at Esmond was in the city today enroute to Seattle Wash. Mrs Hatten reports that she [is] in receipt of a telegram from her son Lieut Tom Hatten advising that [he] has landed safely at New York.”
They tie a Thomas J. Hatten of Jamestown to Northfield, Minnesota, and his wife to Seattle, but do
