Chicago Daily Tribune, 29 June and 16 July 1920: death and burial of Dr. Finley Ellingwood

From the research files. The family death notice, 29 June: “ELLINGWOOD, Finley Ellingwood, M. D., 2209 Central-st., Evanston, Ill., husband of Jennie S., née Elliott, father of Mrs. M. G. Larsen [Elma J.], E. L., Finley F., R. E., and Lloyd Ellingwood, at Pasadena, Cal., on June 26.” On 16 July: cremated, the ashes brought to Evanston; private burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, 17 July; memorial service at Covenant Methodist Church, Evanston, 18 July. The California Death Index has the death at Pasadena, aged 67. JAMA (10 July 1920) gave 29 June.
