What it says

From the research file (research/dwyer/Dwyer_Master_Research.md, October 2026): enlisted at St. Louis, 16 Oct 1865, aged 18 (the register image, with his regiment and description, is not yet read). An Indian Wars pension application indexed 1917, Missouri; his widow Anna M. Flynn also applied; payment cards 1907-1933 mark him “Army invalid.” The Indian Wars pensions were for the Army’s frontier campaigns.
