What it says
William Churton’s survey for Thomas Collins on Dial’s Creek: beginning at a red oak, north 75 chains, east 93 chains 40 links, south 75 chains, and west across the creek to the start, “containing seven hundred acres,” surveyed 13 April 1761. Sworn chain carriers George Gibson and Paul Collins. Abstract (Piedmont Wanderings): “Granville to Thomas Collins, 13 Oct 1761, 700 acres on Dials Creek of Flat River.”

Brown’s warrant over the community’s improvements (Brown’s own grant is Gv591).
