What it says
Extracts on Olive Tree Genealogy, read in the Emily research pass
(research/dwyer/Flynns_of_Emily_Township.md, October 2026). Among the Peter Robinson emigrants on
the sick list: “John Flynn, aged 24, put on sick list 8 June 1825, discharged 11 June 1825” and
“Johanna Flynn, aged 13, put on sick list 10 June 1825, discharged 21 June 1825,” two of William
Flyn’s party. The journal also gives the voyage: 101 emigrants came aboard at Cove of Cork on 3 May
and 241 more on 4 May; the ship sailed on 11 May and reached Quebec on 12 June. From there the
emigrants went by steamboat to Montreal, by cart to Lachine, and by bateaux up the St Lawrence to
Prescott, which they reached on 27 June.
