What it says
Robin Bush’s abstract, printed in Burton W. Spear, ed., Search for the Passengers of the Mary & John 1630, vol. 26, Holbrook section (archive.org: searchforpasseng0026burt).
William, “aged 65,” says he was born at Norton Malreward, lived about 20 years at Compton Dando and then 19 at Glastonbury. This is the record that places his birth c. 1551-2 at Norton Malreward and ties him to Thomas Holbrooke of that parish. Davis (1945) did not know it.
