Finley Ellingwood died at 614 South Lake Avenue, Pasadena, on 26 June 1920 at 5 p.m., of chronic interstitial nephritis, of several years’ duration (W. H. Ballard, M.D., who attended him from 13 June). Male, white, married, husband of Jennie Ellingwood; born 12 Sept 1852 at Manchester, Indiana; aged 67 years 9 months 14 days; physician; father Elijah Ellingwood, mother’s maiden name Mary Rice, both said to be born in Connecticut [sic: Indiana and Maine]; two months at the place of death and in California. Informant Elliott Ellingwood, Evanston, Illinois. Cremated at Mountain View, 28 June 1920; undertakers Turner & Stevens, Pasadena.
