Printed transcript of the county court’s records. Used for the Kneeland and Briscoe families:
- The list of Boston men who took the oath of allegiance in 1678 includes “Jno Kneeland” (2:967) and Joseph Briscoe (2:963, as cited in NEHGR 178).
- At the court of 4 Nov 1679, “Joseph Brisco Grand Son of William Brisco deced” sued his uncle Ezekiel Brisco’s estate for the £30 “due unto him as the gift of his sd GrandFather” under the Gibbs deed of 1662, and won (2:1076, quoted in NEHGR 178:6).
