What it says

Unrelated. This record belongs to the Pålsson family of Malmö, which was taken for Anna Mary Paulson’s on 5 October 2026 and ruled out the same day (that Anna Matilda married in Malmö in 1902). Kept so the family is not attached again; see research/paulson/anna-paulson-swedish-origins.md.

Found on FamilySearch, 5 October 2026 (the full page is in the Gallery). Malmö S:t Pauli parish, quarter 25 Örnen, no. VIII, page 247. Read from the image:

Yngl. (young unmarried man) Johan Alfred Pålsson 21 July 1870 Petri
  • Moved in: from S:t Petri on 24 November 1886, first entered at “Blegda IX, fol. 430”, and on this page from 1888.
  • Moved out (right-hand page): “L. B. Tarp [?], fol. 114”, 1889, for Kjersti, with ditto marks for every child including Johan Alfred: the whole family moved on together in 1889, to another place in the parish’s books, not abroad. The whole block is struck through.
  • The note just below (“Utfl. till Helsingør med … d. 27/4 89”, “Danmark 24/9 89”) belongs to the next household, Nils Svensson’s, who had come from Denmark in 1887; not to the Pålssons.

Johan Alfred is listed on his own line, after a blank row, because he was a grown, unmarried son (yngling), entered separately from the children under his mother. The widowing date, 8 January 1886, is Nils Pålsson’s death date in the 1886 roll.
