Read from the image in the Emily research pass (research/dwyer/Flynns_of_Emily_Township.md,

sex marks fit only when matched one line down. With the columns realigned (ages at next birthday):
| Name | Occupation | Born | Religion | Age |

| John Flynn | Farmer | Ireland | Roman Catholic | 50 |
| Ann Flynn | Ireland | Roman Catholic | 38 | |
| William Flynn | Labourer | U. Canada | 18 | |
| John Flynn | Labourer | U. Canada | 16 | |
| Mary Flynn | U. States | 12 | ||
| Elizabeth Flynn | U. Canada | 6 | ||
| James Flynn | U. Canada | 4 | ||
| Margaret Flynn | U. Canada | 2 |
The census gives no relationships. Michael Stephenson’s abstract of the 1851 agricultural returns places “Flynn John” on concession 10, lot 11, a Robinson settler, with 50 acres cleared (source).
