What it says
From the research file (research/mcmillan/McMillan_Frost_Master_Research.md, October 2026), read as snippets; in copyright, paraphrased. About 1810 Malcolm McMillan, Hugh McMillan and John
Cameron, natives of Lochaber in Scotland, settled by what had been called College Lake and renamed it
Lochaber (pp. 84-85). The genealogy “MacMillan, of Lochaber” (about p. 324) gives three brothers,
Malcolm, John and Hugh, and three sisters, and Malcolm’s issue as Angus, Donald (“Squire”), Malcolm,
John and a daughter who married David Fisher; Duncan, who left in 1845, is not named. The Camerons
came from Lochaber to Lochaber about 1830.
