What it says
Under 1628: “This Year died Mr. Richard Warren, who hath been mentioned before in this Book, and was an usefull Instrument, and during his life bare a deep share in the Difficulties and Troubles of the first Settlement of the Plantation of New-Plimouth.” The only record of Warren’s death. Also Morton’s list of the signers of the Mayflower Compact, with Warren twelfth.
Under 1633 (p. 91): “Mr. William Collier arrived with his Family in New-England, who as he had been a good Benefactor to the Colony of New-Plimouth before he came over, having been an Adventurer unto it at its first beginning; so also he approved himself a very useful Instrument … in the place of Magistracy; and lived a godly and holy life untill old Age.”
