Dwight, Strong Genealogy (1871)

Prints Gov. Caleb Strong’s family account of 1777 (p. xxvi): “A sister of his came with him from England, who afterwards m. a person by the name of Dean.” The account gives no first name. Dwight’s own text names her Eleanor, daughter of Richard Strong of Taunton; that is his elaboration.
