Prints the gravestone of Sarah (Prence) Howes: “Sarah Hows Wife to Jeremiah Hows Departed this life March ye 3d 1706 in ye 60th Year of Her age” (p. 217). States that “Sarah m. Daniel Mayo of Eastham, who was born there 25 June, 1664,” and that “the name Patience is never met with in the early branches of the Howes descendants” (p. 218).
