Tamasin Mayo

Widow of Rev. John Mayo at his death in May 1676 (MD 9:120). Her maiden name is unknown. One theory makes her his only wife, the “Timmosijn Breyck” who married “Jan Meyer” at Leiden on 21 Mar 1618 (Mayo-Rodwick); another makes her a second wife, possibly the widow of William Lumpkin. Neither is proven, and it is not known whether she was the mother of his son John.
