“Died. At his late residence, on Saturday, May 28th, Wm. H. Bell, age 57 years”: an asthmatic who had come to Cloverdale for relief four years before, he relapsed after going to Santa Cruz for the death of his daughter, Mrs. G. W. Frost, and was buried by the Masons at the Riverside Cemetery.
