About it
“Mr. R. B. Holbrook, of Coveland, Island county, has offered for sale his valuable farm near that place. The farm contains 160 acres of prairie land, besides a forty acre timber or wood lot. It is situated on the east side of Penn’s Cove. The place has a water frontage of half a mile, and a good house, two barns, a well and spring, and the title is United States patent.” He did not sell; he farmed there another eleven years.
