About it

The red dot marks Russell County, where Meredith Collins is on the tax rolls from 1799 to 1809. Where in the county he lived isn’t known. The arrow follows the Louisa (Levisa) Fork north toward Shelby Creek, Kentucky, where he owned land by 1816. It shows where the family ended up, not a known route. The inset shows the whole map.
