The territorial legislature's act divorcing "Crowell H. Sylvester and Harriet P. Sylvester," "Passed January 17th, 1860." A dissolution, not an annulment. Harriet married Richard B. Holbrook eleven months later.

The bill's passage through the House and Council, with the testimony read and a witness summoned, is in Journals of the House and Council of Washington Territory, 1859-60 session. She had married Crowell H. Sylvester at Deer Isle on 12 Dec 1852.
