- Wife of Edward Stephens Jr. of Plymouth, where she was born in 1728 to William Harlow Jr. and Mercy Rider, and probably the mother of Phebe (Stephens) Ellis. Wife of Edward Stephens Jr. of Plymouth, married there about 1746/7 by Rev. Nathaniel Leonard, and mother of Phebe (Stephens) Ellis. Her parents were second cousins, so she descends twice from Robert Bartlett and Mary Warren (Anne, 1623), and so from Richard Warren of the Mayflower: through Rebecca (Bartlett) Harlow on her father's side and Sarah (Bartlett) Rider on her mother's.
She was born in the year her father gained full title to the Harlow Old Fort House, 119 Sandwich Street (Davis, from deeds), so she probably grew up there. No record says so.
