- note
- Dead by 1682 (WSRO SAS-BA/305).
Sister of Edmund Freeman of Sandwich. Dawes-Gates has her marrying "John Coddington." A 1682 deed names "Mary Cuddington, widow and relict of John Cuddington of Sidlow Mill in Reigate, gent. decd." The research reads John Beauchamp's "my bro. Coddington" (1649) as this John Cuddington, not William Coddington of Rhode Island [inference, strong].
Open questions
- Was the Mary Cuddington, widow, of 1682 a second wife of John Cuddington?
