note
Came with her husband and children; executrix of his will at Ipswich in 1653.

Married Thomas Emerson at Bishop's Stortford, 1 July 1611. The Ipswich Emersons suggests she was a daughter of Elder William Brewster of Scrooby; that is chronologically implausible, since his eldest known child was born in 1593.

Her husband made "my Loueing wife Elizabeth Emerson sole executrix." During her widowhood she was to have the farm rent, the house, the household goods and all the cattle, and a codicil adds that she "shall enioy for hur vs halfe the fruit of the orchard during hur natural lif" (Probate Records of Essex County 2:36-37).
