Dick feeding the squirrel, Madison

Two prints of a small fair-haired boy on his hands and knees, feeding a squirrel by a back stair (page 1), and one of them with the back of the other (page 2): “Dick feeding the squirrell by the back steps at 1744 Jefferson St, Madison,” with the stamp of the University Photo Shop, Madison, Wis. Dick Ellingwood was born at Madison in November 1929 and looks two or three here. The family lived on Jefferson Street before it left Madison for Spokane in 1937 (his father’s memoir, scan 113).
