"It I give to my Daughter Mary and her husband Nathaneell harmon my three two yeare ould steers". "It I give unto Nathaneell the sonn of my sonninlaw Nicolas Ide my browne heifer". The will makes Nicholas Ide his son-in-law but does not name Nicholas's wife; Mary Bliss was the wife of Nathaniel Harmon, not of Nicholas Ide.

The Bliss Genealogy (1881, pp. 33-34) dates the will 8 June 1649, gives the inventory as £117 16s 4d (citing NEHGR 4:282), and lists the others it names: his son Jonathan, who had the house; a daughter married to Thomas Williams; and his son Nathaniel.
