As read in the Cape Cod research (Cape Cod ancestry of Hope Holdershaw and Hannah Brown): "BROWN, Benjamin & his wife Hannah," with children Simeon R. (27 Apr 1798), Dolly (18 Sept 1800) and Haskell B. (15 Dec 1802), and Benjamin's death, 30 June 1819. This is the Benjamin Brown (b. New Ipswich, N.H., 1769) and Hannah Russell whom the Ancestry tree makes the parents of Hannah (Brown) Ellingwood; a New Hampshire family with children from 1798, unrelated to her. Bethel also had an Ellingwood family of its own.
