An online transcription of the list of passengers who sailed from Southampton in the Confidence in April 1638. David Wheeler, aged 11, is listed as a servant. Savage (4:497) takes him for the son of John Wheeler of Hampton, Salisbury and Newbury, and supposed he was "betrust. to some friend wh. should pass him as a serv." Hoyt (I:354) also has David, son of John, coming in the Confidence in 1638.
