Read from the archive's OCR text, 12 Oct 2026. The platform adopted in October 1932 and signed by Pattullo in August 1933: "Profitable and permanent Employment is the most important question facing our people," to be met by "constructive and useful wage-distributing public enterprise"; an Economic Council, national unemployment insurance, "a measure of State Health Insurance," a public utilities commission and a central bank; plank 13, "The Peace River must be given access to the Coast." See Duff Pattullo, 22nd Premier of British Columbia: what did he get right, and what did he get wrong?.
