Found 9 Oct 2026, searching for a Maud with sons Donald and Douglas. Enumerated 3 Jan 1920 by Mrs. Minnie Kaiser [?]; house no. 922 [?].
| Line | Name | Relation | Age | Born | Father born | Mother born |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | Worf [?], Charles H | Head | 34 | Illinois | England | Pennsylvania |
| 11 | Maud E | Wife | 28 | Minnesota | Indiana | Pennsylvania |
| 12 | Donald M | Son | 7 | Minnesota | Illinois | Minnesota |
| 13 | Wallace E | Son | 4 11/12 | North Dakota | Illinois | Minnesota |
| 14 | Douglas L | Son | 3 3/12 | North Dakota | Illinois | Minnesota |
Charles, who owns the house, is a teacher at the normal school; the family is white, the parents married. The surname could also be read Wolf.
Not Maud Noel. Maud Noel was born in Illinois about 1889 of English-born parents; this Maud E. was born in Minnesota about 1891, her father in Indiana and her mother in Pennsylvania. Probably not Richard Holbrook's Maud either. In 1920 she had a living husband, the father of her sons, and three sons, not two. Her Donald would have been about 11 in Sept 1923, not 5, and there is no tie to Seattle. Her Douglas, born about Sept 1916, would have been 6 or 7. The 1930 census of Charles and Maud Worf would settle it. See Capt. Richard B. Holbrook Jr.'s second family in South Dakota (9 Oct 2026).
