Compiled genealogy, read in the archive.org full text. Gives Lucy (Lord) Low's birth as 25 Aug 1746 and her marriage to Josiah Choate, 28 Nov 1817 (p. 85), and the Varney-Choate descent of Rufus Choate (pp. 10-11, 155-157).
Under Josiah Choate [179] it calls her "Mrs. Lucy (Lord) Lowe" at the 1817 marriage, gives Josiah's death as 30 March 1822, and says "Mrs. Lucy (Low) Choate, nee Lord, after Mr. Choate's death, returned to Boxford, Mass., where she died." The Tappan bride, Nancy, was Josiah's daughter by his first wife.
