A compiled town history that prints lists from the Rehoboth town records, some since lost. Pp. 117-118 were read from the page images (https://archive.org/details/historyofrehobot00blis/page/n128/mode/1up).
Cited for King Philip's War (research/king-philips-war/):
- 6 Sept 1661: "Lieutenant Hunt and Joseph Peck were chosen to view the damage in the Indians' corn upon Kickamuet neck, and Consumpsit neck" (p. 52 [?]; the passage falls between the headers of pp. 51 and 53).
- The burning of Rehoboth: "March the 28th, 1676, two days after Pierce's Fight, a party of the Indians, crossing the river, laid the town in ashes, burning forty houses and thirty barns"; and from the town record of deaths and burials, four men "slain on the 26th of March, 1676," "John Reed, Jr. John Fitch, Jr. Benjamin Buckland, and John Miller, Jr." (p. 95).
- Rehoboth's two soldier lists (p. 117; reprinted by Bodge, p. 463, "confirmed by comparison with Narraganset No. 4"): "Those engaged in the Narraganset expedition, were, John Fitch, Jonathan Wilmarth, Jasiel Perry, Thomas Kendrick, Jonathan Sabin, John Carpenter, John Redeway, John Martin, John Hall, John Miller, Jun., John Ide, Joseph Doggett, Sampson Mason, Jun." and "Those who served under Major Bradford, were, Preserved Abell, ... Nicholas Ide, Noah Mason, Samuel Sabin, Thomas Read, Israel Read, George Robinson, Nathaniel Wilmarth."
- The "catalogue ... of those who, at one period of the war, made advances of money" (pp. 117-118), with "John Reade, sen." £13 18s 11d, "Thomas Read" £8 14s 4d, "Wid. Rachael Read, with the loss of a gun" £4 3s, and Joseph Peck £2 10s. Its total, £484 5s 5d, all but matches the colony's war rate on Rehoboth of 22 July 1676, "Rehoboth, 485:05:04" (PCR 5:207), so it is very probably the town's assessment for that rate.
