The "Polly" of her father's will (1841). Unmarried; lived with her brother Eliphalet at Manomet. Her death record names her father Gideon Holbrook, born at Wellfleet, and her mother Nancy Ellis: the only record found that gives Gideon's birthplace. Her obituary is in Haig Adadourian's pamphlet "Dying, and, Behold, We Live" (Plymouth, 1899). She died, unmarried, at her brother Eliphalet's house at Manomet on 5 Jan 1899. The obituary calls her "a peace-maker," and notes that "Of her four brothers only one, Eliphalet Holbrook, of Manomet, survives her."
